Hill Cross Furniture

Back in 2005, we were asked by Hill Cross Furniture to design a system that would keep an accurate record of their 12,000+ customers including details of correspondence, phone calls etc. The system would also comprise of a databse of all the furniture products that the company sells with cost prices, transport costs, fabric costs, upholstery costs etc. This would allow the system to produce accurate quotes that could be sent direct to their customers, even while the sales person was on the phone. Such was the success of the software that Hill Cross Furniture was able to expand and now sells it's products all over the world.

Results Agency

We have provided a bespoke software solution for Results Agency since 2003. The system that we were asked to provide comprises a huge database of all of the potential contacts and companies that Results Agency work with. Custom reports are produced to allow Results to keep their clients up to date with progress on marketing campaigns. The system is capable of importing data from any source to create new campaigns.

We were approached by Cello Electronics, one of Britain's leading TV manufacturers to produce a custom stock control system. The system would be web based and accessed from all over the UK and from the company's component factory in China. The system has since been expanded to handle the Call Centre, Repairs and sales of spare parts and accessories.

Thirsk Furniture Products Ltd

We were asked by Thirsk Furniture to create a bespoke Customer Management System which would also generate quotes for customers. The system also had to accurately calculate the building costs of their various table tops. This process involved analysing the manufacturing process through every stage and recording the time and materials used. From this data formulae were worked out so that any size of product could be made from any material and the production costs could be relied on as being accurate.

Connollys Red Mills are a leading brand in Pet and Racehorse feed. They are based in Eire. Station Software was asked to create some Bespoke Software to keep a database of all the UK stockists of Connollys Red Mills feed. The software allowed a customer to ring in with their postcode and get a detailed list of the nearest stockists.

Clinical System

This application was developed to replace our DOS clinical system. It was developed over 3 years and was put through rigorous testing by the NHS software accreditation team.
It has built in features that keep a security audit trail of all transactions carried out on the database. Many of the features that were developed for use in the clinical system are employed today in smaller applications that would be prohibitively expensive to attempt to develop for a small client. This has the advantage in keeping our bespoke systems much cheaper than they otherwise would be.
